Here's the definition of the self appointed expert - someone that have read a book or listened to an mp3 and now they're calling them self an expert in the field.
Then they proceed to post on forum after forum what they have learned when all they have done is read a book or some other media. All it takes is one sucker that starts believing in him. Now he's an expert, he's got an ego bigger than the whole world. Now that one sucker builds him up to someone else and now he begins to get a few people following him and building him up.
I'm going to give it a name you've probably heard on the net. This is VIRAL ADVERTISING at it's worse because the information is useless because this self appointed expert doesn't have a clue and what have you got.
DISASTER AND FAILURE!!!!
Bottom Line.
You've been had very, very bad my friend.
All you can do is pick yourself up and learn something from this experience. YOU learn to be a critical thinker and check things out for yourself.

The Business Model Drives Behavior in the Field
If your company doesn't drives the correct behavior in the field you will not be successful.
Let's just start with the compensation plan. First there's what you call 'Breakage' and what that means is money appears to go to distributors. But for whatever reasons reverts back to the company itself.
Here's an example:
We have Companies X,Y,Z.
Company X - Big company, publicly traded.
Company Y - not big as X, lot of years in business, but not publicly traded
Company Z - in business about 4 - 5 years, dollar volume not really big and not as many reps as X or Y.
Let's look at the different business models and the difference in behavior that these models drive in the field.
Companies X,Y, and Z sell an identical product.
Company X - $116 retail.
Company Y - $104 retail.
Company Z - $40 retail
What behavior is driven in the field with Company X or Y. Do you think distributors can sell product at that price? It would be hard, wouldn't you agree.
Why? Because it is too expensive. Result: Companies X and Y, has no retail activity going on because the product is too high.
So what behavior does it drive? Easy you guessed. Sign up to be a distributor.
Does Your Company's Business Model Stop Retailing?
Here's an example of a company's business model that stops retailing.
Company X and Y have sky high overhead. They hire order takers instead of ordering online, it's too complicated they say. Then company Y brags on the 300 or so people they got to answer telephones and take orders. How much are they paying out to these 300+ employees every month? Let's say $10 per hour plus social security, workman's comp, disability insurance, sick days, holidays, so it's really about $20 an hour.
Now if they are in a building, you add to their expenses - mortgage, electricity, phone, air conditioning and probably about 250 computers.
You have more problems when you have humans. So you need customers service reps. You need more employees to fix up the errors thats being made. What a business model!
That's why the overhead is so high. But they tell you the reason the product is $104 because it is the best.
Baloney!
Now do you understand why it's so hard for Company X or Y to sell that product. The business model is a recruit, recruit, recruit.
With company Z, they have the latest technology and doesn't have all the overhead. So they can sell the same product for half the price.
Company X or Y can't get customers so they do what, recruit distributors. You have to pay money to become a distribtor and buy it for $80, the wholesale price. Is that a fair shake for you? Heck no!
Recruit vs. Retail
When you sell a product to someone, some will love the product and become dedicated customers. Some will become reps, but if they just recruit there's no dedication. It's just not there. You might keep some recruits but many will move on and go elsewhere when they find something better. So retailing product gives a whole new dynamic to your business and MLMers don't have it.
The Lifeblood of any business is product movement to the end consumer.
Let's us take a look at Walmart's business model. Network marketers pay close attention here.
Sam Walton had a vision. He said "We will build the largest retailer in the world." He did achieve his goal because he found a way to move product to the end consumer at a cheaper price. How did he do it?
Let me demonstrate: People don't care when they buy their groceries or if there's acoustical tile on the ceiling. So his business model was to have shelves with case and cases and more case of soda pop.
Then in the evening, bring that stuff down and restock the shelves. They would stock the warehouses for all the manufacturing companies, saving those companies a whole lot of money. He built the warehouses all around the world. Then he talked to Scott tissues, Hershey's, Johnson & Johnson's, all these companies. He told them to ship your products to my warehouses, you don't have to build expensive warehouses, I'll store it. As we sell it, I'll pay you.
When they scan the product, the system will track it and Scott tissue knows Walmart sold 73 cases of paper towels today. The vendor receive a check.
Now isn't that a great business model. That's why everybody goes to Walmart or Sam's Club. Everybody wins and the result is product is being moved to the end consumer everyday.
Whoever figures out how to move product to the end consumer at the best price, wins. Sam Walton proved that point. How?
He cut overhead for those companies, his product suppliers.
You're probably thinking how does this apply in network marketing. Look at every company and every compensation plan. Let us take a look at this example:
A company pays 50% commission on a $80 product or 50% commission on the same product for $40. The $40 product makes it much easier to sell twice as much or 3 times as much. Cut the overhead and have a better chance to sell the product. After all you are competing with other network marketing products. You're competing against Sam's club and Walmart too.
So your business model has to let you make a good offer to the consumer, or you will never succeed.

I use blogging to generate traffic to my website, because what I have to offer I want to share with others. Without blogging I would not be able to do it. So I don't think it's dead. Everybody has a right to their opinion and that's all it is. I'm sure that a lot of people would agree with me.

It's Time to Move Forward and Make Real Progress
I ran across a blog a good friend of mine wrote, his name is Mike Litman. I want to share it with everyone who wants a prosperous life. It can be yours, so go ahead and give it a read. Enjoy!

This is the self-talk for way, way, too many people and it robs,
steals us of our happiness and fulfillment.
Let me share one idea with you today. Just one.
***Become AWARE of negative recurring thought patterns that
sabotage and halt your progress.
“Mike, where do some of these negative recurring thoughts come
from?”
Good question.
I don’t have all the answers, though let me share with you an
idea.
Be on the watch for negative GENERATIONAL habits and mindsets
that have rubbed off on you. (many times you don’t even realize
it
Selfishness
Depression
Lack of enthusiasm
Negativity
Victim mentality
Most people don’t realize how powerful their environment is
throughout their life.
Bring more SELF AWARENESS into your life.
Lift your thoughts. Start thinking more positively about
yourself and what you can accomplish.
Negative generational habits that you’ve accepted limit your
growth and accomplishments. You can break them and experience
new levels of fulfillment, self respect, and success.
Seek to become a GENERATIONAL SUCCESS. Seek to pass on a great
mindset to your kids and their kids.
Tell yourself daily that you’re a great person, that GREAT
things are about to happen for you.
Start expecting success, every day. In every part of your lives.
Sometimes we can think we’re positive, though our core mindset
is negative. We don’t truly expect to win.
See yourself in your mind SUCCEEDING now.
Stop letting your memory hold you back. Start using your
imagination to break past negative programming.
Start enjoying life more. Increase your enthusiasm for living.
Our mental attitude directs our lives.
Let’s keep improving each day and seek to be the best we can be,
you in?

Is Network Marketing worth it?
I decided to write this for all the network marketers, who may be frustrated and failing in their network marketing company. That's why I gave it that title.
The answer is without a doubt, it is worth it!
If you haven't been succeeding and progressing the way you want to it is not your fault! Did you hear what I said?
So far you've been spending money. Right? Of course you have. Now you're starting to think success is not going to happen for you. You're about ready to throw in the towel. KEEPING YOUR FOCUS ON YOUR DREAMS.
Everyone that was born on this earth, God has an assignment for you and he has taken very special care in laying out that plan. (It's custom designed just for YOU.)
But it's up to YOU to stay FOCUSED on his plan for your life. YOU can fulfill your dream God has for YOU.
YOU need a plan to keep you FOCUSED. If you fail to plan for your life, then you're just planning to fail. God has given your plan to you. It's up to you to do something to fulfill it because God is expecting you to do it, because he has laid it out. YOU need to stay focused and see his plan.
Here's an acronym on the word: F-O-C-U-S.
"F" stands for "fix the fence." Search inside yourself, identify your weakness and deal with them. Don't play around with temptation, things that will tempt and distract you.

Compensation Plan vs. Scam
If you're looking for a network marketing company. You should crunch the numbers of their compensation plan. It is simple mathematics, don't make it difficult because it's not.
WHAT IS THE BEST COMPENSATION PLAN?
It has 2 key features:
1) It works with the numbers
2) Average people (part timers) can build and prosper (the majority in your group will be average people)
Most network marketers are doomed from the get-go because the compensation plan they are working does not work with the numbers.
You have to become a numbers-crunchers or die. You may not like the numbers, you may not understand them. Doesn't matter. The numbers are reality. Either work with them, or sayonara.
Do you want a compensation plan that works for 97% of the people or a plan that works for 3%.
I love a company that lets me personally sponsor someone then place them anywhere in my group to maximize THEIR dollar payout. YOU build trust and retention this way.
So avoid any compensation plan that:
1. Limits your strategy to place personally sponsored people where you want.
2. Forces you to go wide.
3. Don't reward you for building deep.
4. won't work for average part-timers.
REMEMBER: Work with the numbers, not against them.
Choose a compensation plan that works with the numbers and the masses.
Most compensation plans do not benefit you, that's why you should crunch the numbers of the compensation plan. It could be working in their favor and it's not working for you at all.
